Photography is the blood in my body; it is what keeps me alive. I strive to create images with impact and drama, as well as, capture the quiet subtle moments that define us. I love to observe people, and I capture that photograph that makes people say "I was there but never saw that".

Life is fun, crazy, and sometimes sad, and as a photographer I want to see all of that through the lens. As the great Robert Capa said, "if your pictures are not good enough, you're not close enough" so I get close, live life to the fullest and I do that every day with a camera in my hand!

My career as a photojournalist began in 1991, after graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in photography and multimedia. My photos have been published all over world. I am experienced working on tight deadlines, turning around great photography in a timely manner. I worked for United Press International, Agence France Presse`, Getty News Images, The Pittsburgh Post Gazette, The Geauga Times Leader, The Kerville Daily Times, The Middletown Journal, The Youngstown Vindicator, Time Magazine, Ohio Magazine, Valley Magazine, Pictage Magazine and The Associated Press. I covered the last four presidential elections as well as the 2007 United States Golf Association (USGA) Open and many other high profile national events.

My corporate clients include; Hard Rock Cafe, Toys “R” Us, Homer Laughlin China and Winner Aviation.

I provide high quality photographs for advertising, sales and marketing, web sites, commercial real estate, product catalogues, postcards, posters, and all other commercial applications. provide photographs that sell by using fresh ideas and creative direction I, and work for each client to capture impactful images that meet the client’s needs.

I work with each client on an individual basis, determining the client’s needs, and translating those needs into beautiful imagery. Whether shooting a major multi-day project, or an individual portrait, I ensure 100% satisfaction with the finished product.
