About Me

A Little About Me
I've been shooting actively with models since 2006. While I now primarily work with paying clients, I still like to shoot some fun creative stuff with models from time to time.  My model work primarily consists of glamour and editorial style photography. Over the years my style has evolved but I have really come to love images that depict the beautiful sensuality of the female form.
It's funny where life takes you. a year ago I began a rebranding process for my more creative photography, and now, while I do not do a lot of work with models these days, this is the next step in that process.  That's not to say I won't work with models, I'm just extremely selective about who I will work with.  I'm always available for hire for ANY session...  As such, you will see a lot of MJDigitalArt branding here and there, until I can get it all changed over... (its a very daunting process) we like the LoveLines brand better than the MJDigitalArt brand... it speaks more to the kind of work we do...

You can see a small sampling of my work here, but the lions share of my best work is on my website http://www.lovelinesphoto.com

A little about working with me....
As I said earlier, I have limited opportunities for TF work. If you are a new model and are looking to build your portfolio, I can usually help you out for a small fee. Please don't be afraid to approach me with any ideas that you may have. I'm a pretty reasonable guy and I'm always open to hearing fresh new ideas to collaborate on.. especially if it promotes my work on Diverxity or my work with private clients.

Diverxity
Pretty much all of the work I am doing with models is now being published on a website called Diverxity.  Check out my profile at http://www.diverxity.com/users/1143 Chances are good that if we're shooting TF* stuff I'm going to be publishing our material on there. I will need you to create a profile if you don't have one already, and e-sign their agreement and provide them with a copy of your photoID.

I believe in internet safety.
I have no problem with meeting over coffee before our shoot, and I encourage chaperones. I'm not in this to "hook up" with models, or to take advantage of anyone. This is very much a business venture to me, and I treat it with the respect it deserves. I expect that you will as well.  That doesn't mean we won't have fun... we certainly will. It just means that I will respect your comfort level, and your personal space, while trying to create a fun atmosphere that makes what we're doing worth doing.
Whether you are shooting with me, or anyone else.. make sure someone knows where you are going, and who you are going with. Arrange a check in call within a half hour of our meet time, and at regular intervals afterward. It is a dangerous world out there these days... you can't be too careful, and I am more than happy to accommodate and facilitate whatever your needs for safety and security.
You will find with me, that I am a very respectful, and respectable person.. at times to a fault. I would encourage you to check with the people I've worked with. I'm strictly above board. My biggest fault.. I occasionally get busy, and get an editing backlog.. in which case there can be extended wait times for the second round of images from me.. more on that below.

Model Drama
It is sad that this needs to be said... I prefer to work with people who are drama free... sadly sometimes you just never know.
As a result of this my reputation was damaged by half truths and outright lies a few years ago. Sadly... I've recently discovered those rumors still abound, so you may or may not have heard some of them.  Creative people tend to be very gossipy and cliquish.. and human nature is to be attracted to the more negative stories we hear.
If you like my work and would like to work with me, I would encourage you to talk to me and work with me, keeping in mind the lies that you've heard. Bring an escort... take every "safety" precaution you desire... you will find the accusations and the rumor to be complete bullshit.  I am an honest above the board guy who has nothing but respect for the people I work with... right up until the point  someone crosses me... and then I simply move on.... I don't do drama... and prefer to avoid it. Sadly... people who love drama.. tend to bring it to you when you walk away from them because of it.

Cancellation Policy
My only real expectation is open communication between us. If for some reason you will be late or will not be able to make a shoot, a phone call at least 24 hour in advance is not an unreasonable request, but a few days warning is even better. I am VERY intolerant of No Call/No Shows, or last minute cancellations.. either will put you on a deposit list the next time you want to schedule a shoot with me.

Image Delivery Policy
TF* Shoots - I now deliver my photos via my website. When I get your photos finished I will contact you with the link to your album. You will have the ability to download images for free, or order prints at my cost. I no longer do CD's.. actually that's not true.. I will do a CD, but it will cost you. CD's take me about an hour to put together, burn, package and ship. It is much quicker and easier for me to deliver the images to you via my website and it's free for you...
When I do a shoot with you, I generally will get the best of the images out to you right away. How many? It varies.. sometimes it's just a few, other times a dozen or more. There are a lot of variables that come into play... how many images we shot, how inspired the shoot is, my current editing queue, schedule etc.. in any case you will have the best of your shoot within days.. often times the same day.. then eventually I will make a second pass through your set.. to see if there are more in there. This will generally happen within a month.. but it does sometimes go longer.. I tell my models this.. that first burst of images, is our TF arrangement. The second burst is bonus.

Where are we?
I now work exclusively on location. We have a lot of outdoor options in the Pacific Northwest and we have options for indoor venues as well. I've learned the hard way that working out of a studio, while convenient, stifles creativity, and only adds to overhead costs.

Thanks for your time and effort in reading this over.. I'm looking forward to meeting with you and working with you on your project!
