Dj Sophia Lin 2014 Biography
 
Raised in Kansas, Sophia Lin’s talent and stage presence catapulted her to the heights of the International Club Circuit in the blink of an eye. Originally known as “DJ Hustle-Lin”, her energetic live sets coupled with her charismatic personality and creative song selections had appreciative audiences dancing from Seattle to Vegas to NYC and Miami.
 
In 2007, Sophia moved to Los Angeles and released her first mix CD, an instant hit that left her fans craving for more. One of America’s hottest female DJ’s, Sophia Lin was crowned Hot Import Nights official tour DJ 4 years in a row.  Fox 11 News LA also recognized Sophia Lin as one of LA’s top female DJs in a story “Diva Dj’s”.

As her star power continued to ascend, she began rocking crowds across the globe with her cutting edge selections and compelling energy.  Her passion for music has taken her to Russia, Brazil, Canada, China, Greece, Japan, Korea, Lebanon, Mexico, Thailand, Panama, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, Vietnam and many more countries.

Being an international DJ, Sophia has a dedicated fan base of over10k Instagram followers and over 20k Twitter followers; along with nearly 25k likes on her Facebook Fan Page and over ONE MILLION hits on her MySpace profile. 

In 2009, while spinning at Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, she was approached by Elite Model Management Miami.  Since signing with their TV/Film Division, she has appeared in several movies such as:  “Fast & Furious 4”, “Miss March”, “Kissing Strangers” and “Should’ve Been Romeo”.  Sophia Lin has also been featured in countless music videos including:  “Love in This Club”/Usher, “Miss Independent”/ Ne-Yo and “Lolli Lolli’/Three 6 Mafia.  

In 2010 she was a resident DJ at Coyote Ugly in Vegas and in 2011 at the Playboy Club in Macau, China.  Headlining as “America’s Hottest DJ”, Sophia’s versatility and impeccable ability to read her club patrons enables her to spin anything from EDM to Hip-Hop. Her sizzling sets and vibrant style guarantee that no two shows are the same.

While on tour in Asia, FHM Malaysia selected Sophia as their cover girl for their July 2011 edition with an exclusive eight page spread.  In addition, DJ Sophia Lin was featured in FHM Thailand June and July issues in 2011 and Maxim Korea (January 2012).
 
“As a DJ, I love to make everyone feel like they are the heartbeat of the party.  Of course, without them there is no party!  I give every ounce of myself to make sure that everybody is having the best time possible. The music is constantly evolving, but what the people want, isn’t.  The best part about what I do is to give them what they want.  I specialize in making people happy. Sophia Lin’s current projects include working with Sony Music, monthly podcast, and collaborations with major music producers on the much-anticipated release of her self-titled album.
