Welcome to my world!  I'm David Skuse, a pro shooter that has been behind the camera for 43 years.  Longer than most models have been on this planet!!  I don't do this for punch and cookies.  My goal is to make you, your product, or company look great.  I'm not into boring cookie-cutter images.  I can shoot in studio, on location, and I'm set-up to travel anywhere. 

I shoot many different styles of images, allowing me to tailor fit what a client is looking for.  Sometimes I think I work backwards to most photographers in this respect:  We all have ideas/concepts for images to create.  There are not enough models on MM to shoot the images I want to create.  But the challenge I enjoy is working around a client's concept and having the skills to bring their vision to life.  That's much harder to do and very rewarding.

A majority of my work is PRIVATE.  Many of my clients want or need quality photowork done but value the discretion that has been lost with the internet.  Ironically, some of my best work will never be seen except by the client, a company, or a loved one.

So why am I here?  I am always looking for new faces to shoot the numerous concepts in my head, and my private clients need to see that I know the business end of a camera.  I work with a lot of people that have never been in front of a camera, so teen models and new models should find that I can direct them easily, so they understand what's going on.  Experienced models are awesome when they put their skills in front of the lens, and I can concentrate on capturing moments of their magic.  I have a very simple theory:  If you're not having a good time, I'm not getting good images.  I maintain an environment that is safe and relaxed without games.  Simple theory #2:  This is a business!  Models listed on the front here can verify any questions you may have.

Teen Models- Are a blast to shoot!  I appreciate their energy and enthusiasm when shooting.  I used to own a Sr. Portrait Studio.  Just like your doctor, I request a parent/guardian/agent be at any meetings as they need to know what is going on and have legal signature.

Figure Models-I do NOT shoot Nude!  If you do, great.  Please understand that I shoot glamour and artistic figure images with models that like doing figure work.  No arm twisting or games.  Goes back to the simple theory listed above and allows a model to work and expand where they want.

I do a lot of portfolio work and put a major effort into each client's session to create different styles for that model to show a wider range of looks.  More versatility in your portfolio will get more attention than 12 images that basically look the same.

I MAINTAIN A COMPLETE WARDROBE!!  Everything from mild to wild.  I don't look good in any of it!?  So feel free to use my collection.  This wardrobe and numerous props is a major part of creating different looks for a portfolio or to match a creative set.  Comes in handy when models don't have much of a wardrobe or I need to improvise at a shoot.

Travel Shooting- I do travel to many locations for shoots.  My camera takes me to some awesome places both local and long distance.  Always looking for models to shoot at these places, either in that area or to go along.  My definition of far is Wenatchee, Colorado, Tennessee, Mexico, etc.  I giggle at Seattle models that act like Everett is on the Canadian Border.

Time Value- Everyone should value time.  My clients appreciate that I don't waste theirs while delivering what they need, and my highest respect is for those that don't waste mine.  Bluntly-My life is busy.  I have to schedule time to fart!?  Doesn't sound like much but try rescheduling one at the last minute!? 'Nuff said.
