My name is Karina Vegas and I work as a creative photographer in Copenhagen, Denmark. I specialize in creating images for the book-publishing industry and I am represented by various agencies.

So far my images has been published around the world on more than 200 book-covers for authors such as Silvia Day, Nora Roberts, James Patterson, Danielle Steel, Mo Hayder and Stuart Neville to name a few.

I offer to work for free in exchange for a signed model release form, which is required by my agencies. This means I can sell the images for possible publication, if I choose to.

What will you get out of it? You get the experience, a free photo-shoot and edited photos sent to you within 2 weeks and also the chance to get published and see yourself on book-covers around the world.

You don’t have to have any prior modeling experience or look like the traditional model (I am looking for models over the age of 18 that look realistic and natural, since this is mostly what the book publishers is after). You do need to feel comfortable in front of the camera and take direction well. I prefer to shoot in natural light on location. Being a book cover model is a lot like acting, taking on a character and playing out a role, so just have fun with it.
