First things first:  I’m fully vaccinated including the booster.

I’ve been working as an artist for 20+ years, specializing in portraits, illustrations and figurative work, mostly by private commission.

When drawing, I work from reference photos. Photography sessions with me don’t last more than two hours with local models (though I have had to do some all day shots with traveling models).  Sessions are prearranged as clothed (street clothes or costumes), or nude with  compensation to match. (Nude sessions pay more).  If requested, I give the model a photo CD of the session for their portfolio.  Full Disclosure: I am an artist, not a photographer, so I can’t always guarantee the best images.  They are designed to be used as reference photos, but sometimes they do look very nice.

No experience is necessary.  Photo sessions are usually planned out in advance and I work slowly and methodically, giving directions as we go along.  Chaperones are welcome, the model must feel comfortable and safe.  I can provide references if requested, four are here on Model Mayhem.  I pay well, especially compared to the wage an artist’s model earns at an art school life drawing class.
