My name is Ashanti..previously known by my (now retired) model name Nakiyah Love. I was born in Palm Beach, Florida but later on moved to Queens, New York where my family roots still reside. Currently, I reside in Memphis, TN where I work in Property Management and remain very active as an independent model for many different photographers and videographers.


As a model I have worked with various photographers such as Elite Studio 1, RC Photography, Keilon Smith, PWorkz & Patrick Covington as well as been in more than a few videos, i.e. Kinfolk Thugz-Dumptruck, GYFT-They Just Don’t Know, Tone Yates feat. Mac E-Profile etc. I also engage myself in fashion shows such as the Fushion fashion show, The Heist with Xpressions Models & Tri-Image Models fashion show with many more to come.

I live by a saying, "the only people u need n ur lyfe are those who prove they need u n theirs cuz the hardest gift to give is love because you never can get it back". Saying that, be careful who you place your heart in the hands of. But, when you do find that special person that makes your days seem a little bit sweeter and you can't seem to stop smiling for no particular reason,then love hard, cry harder and pray that its real.Cuz the best things in lyfe are unseen,thats y we close our eyes when we kiss,cry and dream....keep living,keep dreaming and keep loving those who love you back
