CURRENT PROJECTS:



WHO I AM: I am a traditional, airbrush, and tattoo artist specializing in photorealism. My passion is capturing life and emotion in my work.

I'm also a 3D sculptor and a comic book artist.

WHAT I DO: I do a majority of work in Graphite (pencil) on 8.5x11 paper, and I also work in charcoal and airbrush on 18x24 paper andor canvas. I'm also a professional Tattoo artist, Zbrush Sculptor, and a comicbook artist.

HOW I DO IT: I usually work through a photo reference. I usually set up a photo shoot  because I have specific wants and needs in the photos I use as my references. Locations have varied depending on the shoot and upon how comfortable the model and I are with each other. After the shoot, the process of creating each rendering is vary time consuming and has taken as long as 2 years (though 2 months is my norm) before anything can be seen from any particular shoot depending on my workload.

I prefer images with a good degree of light and dark contrast so not just any image will do, though usually a good lamp and a simple camera do the trick since the photos are not what I am publishing.

In regards to UNPAID nude photo shoots, the photos are for use as reference for my renderings only and will never be published without written consent from the model. I can also change features (face, hair, certain body aspects) to make the finished rendering unrecognizable as the model should the model feel uncomfortable with exhibiting the pose.
My passion is capturing the life, feeling, and emotion and that's all i really care about.
I preffer photoshoots where part of the time is spent capturing images specifically for the work intended, and the rest of the time spent exploring creativity. Some of the best images come from completely candid shots.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: Cash payment is often possible depending on the project, but it's not always available. I do give free high quality prints should the work go into print.
