Currently I'm open during 2013 for any pin-up/retro/1940s shoots on a PAID/TFCD basis.  I normally shoot pin-ups in a studio, but also open for location and vintage swimsuit shoots at the beach or with WW2 aircraft.  If you're interested in a pin-up shoot, please contact me.  Because of a rather busy times lately, I can't shoot with everyone, and weekday nights or weekend mornings-afternoon work best for me.  I do have a make-up artist and hair stylist who can help out with the shoot, but since if I do a TFCD I can't guarantee their availability.  That being said, I do have very detailed video tutorials on Pin-Up hair and makeup that are easy to follow that I can send you.  Outfit: I have a massive wardrobe collection of vintage outfits ranging from dresses/swing to swimsuits to vintage military.  Send me a message and let's talk!

Specializing in Military Aviation, 1940s Pin-Up, Fashion, Headshot, Commercial, Product, and a variety of other photography styles I've been doing photography for the last 10 years (as of 2009). Starting as a hobby, it grew into a full time career and business. The trick to being a successful photographer, I believe, is to still have fun while shooting. Once the magic and allure of the art of photography is gone it just becomes another tedious job.

My favorite type of shoot I've been doing for over 9 years now is 1940's retro pin-up/fashion shoots. It started out as a job for a toy company who wanted to feature pin-up style models on their WW2 aircraft toys. Once they dropped the idea due to funds, I kept going with it because of how much fun and had invested so much time into research, wardrobe, and props for these shoots.  Being a big history buff, especially in the WW2/1940s era, this style of shoot will always be one of my most favorites. Furthermore, I never realized how much in demand 1940s shoots are until this all started! It's certainly a way to touch the past.  The first Dietz Dolls Pinup calendar was released late 2011 and was a HUGE hit!  On certain shoots, I have access to vintage WW2 Military Aircraft as background settings.

My style has always been natural, trying to get everything from a military fighter jet down to a headshot session as natural and down to earth as I can get it. While I do play around with the artistic approach, getting that natural feel brings a realism to photography that seems to be generally liked.

I've been a professional aviation photographer for over 11 years. I've been shooting photos at Disneyland for almost 4 years now, and for the past 7 years I've been working at a photography studio in Orange County. I'm also a certified Adobe Photoshop professional with over 10 years of professional retouching experience as well as a commercial graphic and web designer.  My aviation photography, Warbird Photos (http://www.warbird-photos.com) is primarily where I'm best known for throughout the world.

I do consider all TFCD/DVD requests, as long as it has a mutual benefit for myself and the model. If you have a great idea, let me know!  I'll probably be willing to try it out!  Growing portfolios and experience can only benefit both parties.  I'm always looking to experiment into new styles and methods of shooting with models and am always open to ideas.
