About Me:
    I'm Danovon T. Calhoun-Bettis but they call me Bettis. I'm an amateur photographer focused on creating images that will make a name for myself. In my photography I tend to use locations that the average beginner wouldn't. I've been taking pictures for about a year now and I would love to model as well. In my pictures I use natural sun and/or window light, not studio lighting or strobes.
    My main goal and purpose for joining Model Mayhem is to see how others think, gain knowledge and learn from those who know more. I want to share my point of view with those who see what I see and those who look with different eyes and see what no one else would normally... I love the art form and I appreciate it. Even though I do this as a hobby, I'm always looking to work with more models, so don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in doing a shoot. I try to keep shoots fun, and most models I work with seem to have a good time.


Shoots Typically Include:
--Portraits & headshots
--Clothed shots
--Nudes*
--Outdoor shots (weather/time permitting)

--Models receive a select number of portfolio-ready retouched JPEG images from shoot; I don't give out RAW files or a CD with every shot taken.

*I do not require that models pose nude, but since it’s an area that I am interested in and I do give scheduling priority to those who are interested as well. Nudes may include implied nude (with a prop, hand, leg, etc., covering) or artistic nude--depending on model's comfort level and interest.

Out-of-Town Models
I'm happy to work with models from out of town, but since this is a hobby for me I can't offer compensation for gas, travel or a room for the night. If you're traveling to in New Orleans anyway and do not require reimbursement, I'd be happy to talk about doing a shoot.
