About Me

About the Photographer:
"If the photographer is interested in the people in front of his lens, and if he is compassionate, it's already a lot. The instrument is not the camera but the photographer." Eve Arnold.  This quote says what my soul feels every time I go out for an assignment whether it be professional or personal. We have all heard  the saying, "I fell in love hard." Well I can say that is what happened to me with photography. During high school, I got my first taste of photography and decided to study it further. December of 2007 I graduated from N.K.U. with a Bachelors in Art with my concentration in Applied Photography.  Since then I have worked mostly on personal work but currently I am employed at a photography studio that focuses on children and families.  This is not my ideal career, but it's work in the photography field.  Almost any type of subject will catch my eye in photography however working with bands and models in conventional and unconventional photo shoots.

Experience:
The Northener: Photo Editor
LocalMetal.com: photographer-live shows in the area
Retribution Band: press photos and album cover (see photos)
Wicked Intent Band: press photos
Natasha R: model with gothic theme
Katheryn: model with fairy theme

Goals:
Overall from this site I am looking for models who will work TFP work.  This will give both an opportunity to develop our portfolios. Eventually, my goal is to run a successful photography business with my focus on bands press kits and models portfolio. Ideally, I would love to travel around the world for a photo shoot but that can only happen after I build an excellent reputation and portfolio.

Please contact me if you are interested in doing a shoot TFP...  I can not travel at this point w/o compensation.

Thanks,
N. Jones Photography
