Born and raised in what used to be known as the small town of Burbank…just outside of Los Angeles, this 25 year old California girl had a dream to move to Nashville like millions of other young ladies. Not knowing exactly how she was going to get there, nor did she have a plan….Lacy was going to make it happen one way or another. From the age of 3, all Lacy wanted to do was sing. Whether she was sittin in the car with her dad, or helping clean the house with her mom, the radio was stopped on tunes recorded by classic artists such as Elvis, Conway Twitty, Willie Nelson, Barbara Mandrell and Crystal Gayle all the way to Tina Turner, Cher and of course Olivia Newton-John. These artists had a major influence on the style and vulnerability you can hear in Lacy’s voice. She had a love for all music, but favored country and the stories behind it. “I would sit on the floor back home watching CMT and thinking that Nashville was this fantasyland that I would never go to”. Lacy started singing out everywhere she could, from Karaoke bars to local fairs and festivals till she was awarded the opportunity to open for Tammy Graham at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas at the age of 14. From then on, that was it!!! Lacy was determined to do nothing else but become a country music artist.

She then went on to sing at a “Welcome Party” for the California State Assemblyman and Carnival Cruise line. Not enjoying the fact she still had a few years left of high school, Lacy stuck it out and graduated with the rest of her class.

Barely a year after Lacy got out of school, she landed a job working for “Access Hollywood” as a talent assistant and absorbed everything there was to know about the TV production side of the entertainment industry. After being there 2 years, Lacy felt stuck…so with the help of her mom, they sold everything but their pictures and cars and headed to Nashville, TN to make a new life and pursue a dream.

Not knowing anybody, Lacy set out on foot to find a job and ended up being offered a position with “Travis Television” an affiliate of NBC’s “Access Hollywood”. While working a 9-5 job Lacy would sit in with local bands down on Broadway in clubs like “The Second Fiddle” and “Robert’s Western World” to the “Wildhorse Saloon”. “I was in my glory………when I left L.A., I never looked back”.

Only being in Nashville 4 years and still paying her dues, Lacy has managed to put a band together and has performed in such well known venues as “3rd & Lindsley”, “French Quarter Café”, “Boardwalk Café” and “The Saffire Restaurant” along with acoustic shows at such venues as “Murphy’s Loft”, “Pub of Love” and “The Saltwater Cowboy”. On top of all that she demos songs for various writers and dabbles in a bit of co-writing herself with established songwriters. “Instead of going to college right away, I decided to jump into the real world”.

“Being in Nashville is a college in itself for those who want to pursue a career in music. I don’t regret any sacrifices I have made……..I have a dream and I am pursuing it. When your dreams dies….so do you. Never let anyone tell you it’s impossible”!

Lacy now resides in Nashville, TN. She works for an artist management company as a personal assistant
