Photography is art, a bond of living subjects and passion.
Too me art is fluid, sure there is a plan, but it’s not a rigid plan, so I am happy to explore different thoughts and ideas.

OK,  2012 is the year,
I have got my shit behind me. Quit my job.
and dedicating the whole year to starting a photography studio.
I am looking for CRAZY Photographers, MUA, stylist, models and anyone how want to come along for the ride.


I go by the nom de plume of Dr Valentich (Tony)

Passionate about photography and it being an art form,
The very meaning of photography is writing or painting with light,
a very romantic concept.

      Pet hate:- $10,000+ cameras dont make a photographer if you dont have not an once of art in you,
learning techniques at some school and forsaking the art. (Of cause this is not all professionals)

I aspire for my work to be Art.
(Of cause what is art, a can of soup, a naked body, so many things, but for me, it tells a story, it conjures emotions, a fleeting moment that lives on in your memory. Art is personal, art is individual, and art cannot be taught. Art is what is behind the person, beyond the senses, we reach for its understanding, and discover.)

My history so far.
I had a passion for photography in my teens, but like most people, the real world got a hold of me and I went to work, giving up photography my passion about 20 years ago, then about 1 year ago, Ms-eerie wanted to do some modelling, so I got a second hand 3 mega pixel Fuji camera of eBay for $80 and started doing shoots with her (that is most of my work you can see). I enjoyed it and so I decide to take it up again, buying a Canon 40d camera and some other equipment. Stuff that will do the job. Now I am slowly creating work again.

So, again into the breach!!!

People who want to do a shoot for fun and to gain experience,
People who want to be part of the art and the moment.

PS:- I give the rights to all my work to the model, so I only will use for my portfolio a shot that the model has approved, because I believe that my job is to catch a moment, to represent that moment in its most glorious light. But that moment is of the soul of the model, and is there’s to do what they will.

All the photos in the profile are of a 3 month period last year and all of the same model, and if I say so myself, there is a lot of different looks from the one model. Ms-eerie is amazing and if you get a chance to work with her, do it.

PS: My personal goal this year is to make a short movie, I have always wanted to be involved in making one, this year I am going to do it.

Because it matters to some people, I am shooting with a Full Frame camera.
