I am a fiery, flexible, energetic, and creative woman who is always up for a bit of an adventure. I place a high respect on quality artwork, be it photography, make-up, modeling, painting, music, dancing, cooking, ect. Therefore I believe artists should be payed. It is Extremely Rare that I do trade work. I do not feel the need to have hundreds of images of myself. Pardon my bluntness, but If you are contacting me for a shoot I do expect to be payed; you can rest assured that you will have some great images at the end of the day and we will have fun!
Along with modeling I have also been in film, commercials, and featured in a music video. My main profession however, is Oriental dance (aka belly dance).

I enjoy traveling, and recently moved near Pittsburgh after living in Turkey for a few years. The wonderful music and the kind people here captivated me and I simply decided to stay a while. Istanbul reminds me of NYC - with cleaner streets :) but tainted with cigarette smoke :(. I spent a few years in NYC teaching Swing and Ballroom. I also teach Salsa, Balboa, Blues, and Argentine Tango. I love teaching but performing is where my soul truly shines. The elaborate makeup and decadent costuming brings a smile to my lips. Then the music enters my body and I release my hips. I have so much fun entertaining and making others happy. That is one of the reasons I also love modeling.
While taking dance classes in NYC I was asked to do some runway work for Danskin. That lead to some modeling and promotional work. I have always been captivated by great photography. Once I realized I could be a part of it, I became intrigued by the possibilities and have fallen in love with collaborating with other talented artists. Not only do I enjoy being infront of the camera, but I like seeing what a photographer can capture in one moment. It is a great feeling to leave at the end of the day, knowing that everyone not only enjoyed the shoot, but was a part of creating something truly unique and great.
I have worked with some wonderful photographers and make-up artists in NYC, LA, and Sweden. The world always needs good artists, just as people will always need a release, an escape, a smile, and something to challenge or inspire them. I hope to be a part of some of those enchanting and powerful images.

I performed on 3 Turkish satellite networks as well as some of the top restaurants and hotels in Istanbul. I have had a speaking part in full length feature film, was featured in a commercial, and the lead in an up and coming band's music video. A photo of me performing found its way to a two page spread in the most popular belly dance magazine of Japan. I think I have now covered all media forms. If I have missed one please let me know, and we can fix that ;) Oh, I have not yet modeled for a billboard! That would be fun!!!
Most of my modeling has been in NYC, LA, and Seattle, with some international work. With each shoot you learn something about the industry and something about yourself. I have meant some people that I don't care to work with again and some that I hope our paths cross several more times. When a model understands her body and movement, and a photographer understands lighting and has a good eye, fun things happen!
One of my favorite runway gigs was for Danskin in NYC. They had plenty of fresh fruit and sweets for rehearsals as well as events and they also gave us a bag of dance goodies to go along with our pay check. That's how you treat a model! ;)
I have also worked in some less than ideal conditions (half naked in front of a frozen waterfall at 7am), but when you have a light heart and respect each other you can have a great time, create some amazing photos, and laugh at the crazy story for a long time.
I've also had perfect weather dampened by long hours without water. Live and learn. When times, rates, and locations are set I expect them to be kept and not negotiated on the day of the shoot. Emergencies happen, and that is different. If you would like to work with me I expect to be payed and you keep the images. On the rare occasion that we do a trade we both get the images, and if I pay you then only I get to use the images. Please respect whatever is agreed upon in advance. Sorry for going off on a tangent a little there...
I was also Snow White and Sleeping Beauty in Tokyo for Disneyland's 20th anniversary. Sabishii Nihon!
