Maureen Draganowski, owner of Chicago Face & Body Art, has worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years, starting her career in the theatrical/special effects arena as a make up artist.  She is also an experienced face and body painter, who utilizes her skill with brush and sponge to create unique and artistic trompe l'oeil style paintings on the face and body.

Maureen combines her extensive knowledge of commercial and theatrical make up, special effects make up, hair styling and painted brushwork into a unique blend of artistry.

She also specializes and can be commissioned to produce textural designed and multi media designed art, such as:

Garment/Costume Construction (including historical replication);
Millinery, Headpieces, Hairpieces and custom wig design;
Makeup (including Glamour/Fashion, Bridal, Special FX, Artistic)

I am skilled in up-do's, crafting hair pieces, and fantasy hair, but prefer to concentrate on the face and body art, whenever possible.
