About Me

Classically trained in painting, Ben sees light, color, and storytelling in a unique way. While a paramedic working on the set of Disney's John Carter, Ben entered the world of cinematography and began shooting short films and assisting on sets.

Through cinematic lighting & coloring, as well as skills in marketing & branding, Ben has directed & filmed dozens of campaigns, using both videography and photography. Focusing on the feelings created, Ben has shot lifestyle campaigns for bicycle teams, sporting good stores, clothing lines, and several Fortune 500 companies.

Ben brings a wealth of experience and adaptability to any branding or awareness campaign or shoot. His passion project, the Utah Firefighter Calendar, has raised over $10,000 to date for the American Cancer Society.

When he's not behind the camera, Ben's training for his next Strongman competition Spartan Race, fly-fishing, or teaching advanced lighting to intermediate photographers.

I have a developed portfolio and rarely shoot for trade.  If you are wanting to add to your portfolio, please visit my website and contact me for rates and availability.

For my limited trade work, reach out via Instagram or email. Friend Requests, Tags, and personal messages are not answered as a request to shoot. I merely use Model Mayhem for limited casting and collaboration with others in the industry.

"Ben was lovely to work with and very professional. We met in Melbourne through a reference from another model. It was clear about what he wanted but let me do my thing and it was a great collaboration! I loved how the photos turned out. Excited to shoot again when I go back to the states!" Read less
