I'm primarily interested in trade work (TFP/TFCD), and I'm looking to collaborate with creative models on their own ideas. If you are a model who wants special shots for your portfolio, and can't find a photographer to take it on, I'm your guy: I will treat you as the client, and we will shoot your concept. (If you don't want that, I can take the lead, of course; I can come up with concepts all day.)

My studio space in lovely Santa Clarita is small (1000 sq ft) but very usable. I also love shooting outdoors.

MY BACKGROUND
I've been a professional shooter for over 25 years (on and off). I shot a lot of journalism, architectural, product and commercial work for paying clients, but in 2005, I started working with models, and found a new love.

For two years, I taught at the Santa Clarita Valley Center for Photography (http://www.scvphotocenter.com/).

I was the president of the Santa Clarita Valley Photographer's Association from 2010 to 2013. Before that, I was on the board for three years. I was a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals from 2007 to 2016.

In 2010, I made a significant career change, and decided to no longer pursue professional photography. Instead, photography is now my creative outlet. I've been shown in multiple exhibits. (See Credit Notes, below.) Looking over other portfolios, I realize it's a cliché to say photography is my passion, but it is. Oh well.
