Jason H Dendy (Born September 30, 1988) a native of Jamaica Queens, started to craft his tender talents at the Age of 3 growing up in the church. though being born and raised in the poverty stricken streets of Sutphin blvd, Jason (Boxie) still had a loving and caring family around him. With a Dedicated Mother of the Church, Hard working Father and 5 older siblings, Jason knew then at a young age that music was his everything. with influences such as stevie wonder, brian mcknight, boys II men, and Jamie Foxx, by the age of 10 Jason had became very skilled in the piano, in performing arts and in theater (Creative Outlet Dance school of Brooklyn). At the tender Age of 13, discovered by his next door nieghbor (Mr Andrew Nichols)  Jason Dendy then became the 1st 4x winner of Showtime at the Apollo new season Singing the Classics like GOODY GOODY and why do fools fall in love by the late great Frankie Lymon. Doing Such An amazing rendition of frankie, jason then went on to persue a musical acting career in on/OFF BROADWAY THEATER working in productions side by side to anika noni rose in Caroline or change (George C Wolfe) and with Binder Casting in Disney's The Little Princess as well as multiple traveling productiongs by the world famous Creative outlet Dance theater of Brooklyn under the direction of Mr Jamel gaines. At the Age of 17 Jason then signed his first major recording contract to J records and Pologrounds music releasing songs with hurricane chris, ja rule, memphis bleek,ll cool j, jadakiss, wynter gordon, sha sha jones, neyo, brian m cox, kg of naughty by nature, mario, and so many others! .. now grown up and known for his soulful yet edgy street sound Jason BOXIE dendy is working on a project long side his 2 group members chaz and KO .. of ELITE by kaygee of naughty by nature.. #wavyFlexinCool Coming soon!!!
