I love fashion advertising photography whether its classic work by Richard Avedon or the newest Stephen Meisel shots, slice of life/street photography by Vivian Maier or Garry Winogrand, simple stuff like Terry Richardson, or the controlled chaos of a photographer known as Merkley. And yet some of the best images I've ever seen have been random, uncredited shots I stumbled across on equally random tumblr feeds.

Admittedly, I spend far more time looking at and collecting other people's work than I do coming up with my own. Its a daily obsession, perusing the net for anything that inspires, motivates and just floors me. I love conceptualizing and talking about ideas with the model or stylist as much as I love shooting the actual project. And I'm known to send links in emails with the words 'Look at this!!' to the people I work with.

Photographers are like any other type of collector, and its all about coming up with 'more' and 'new'. And that's why I'm here. Its time the collection I have of my work is as extensive and colorful as the collection I have of other people's work.
