My name is Katherine Ovington(Estevez)

I am a Professional freelance Make Up Artist.
I am experienced in:  Custom blending foundation,facial geometry corrective techniques, color theory, effects of lighting & proper color selection, skin care to rejuvenate & restore, reshaping with highlighting & contouring, brow shaping, mature makeup, false eyelash application, camera ready bridal makeup, multi- cultural makeup, high fashion runway , editorial and music video  make-up, theater, film and TV make-up, and Airbrushing makeup.

I've studied at the prestigious Cosmix Makeup Artistry School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I studied under top working and award winning celebrity Make-up artists such as Erin Kaplow and Victoria Duke.
Erin Kaplow has flourished in the entertainment industry. She has worked with many famous faces and has been nominated for both an Emmy and Cable's Ace Award for 'Outstanding Achievement in Makeup'.
Victoria Duke  currently works with celebrities and models on music videos, runway shows, television, concerts, film and print. She has been a National Artist and Creative Consultant for companies including Clinique, Estée Lauder, Lancôme and Stila. Her talent has been mentioned in Allure, Vogue, Glamour and Elle magazines and on the “Style” network.
Also with Run Way expert Nadine Chiasson. She is a graduate of the Production Makeup Artistry Program from Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry and now teaches at the Fort Lauderdale school. Nadine works as a freelance makeup artist for photographers, fashion shows, and concerts. She was lead artist at 2007’s Miami Fashion Week. She currently works for a satellite news network and her work can be seen on MSNBC, Fox News, and CNN.

Learning from from these amazing Artist and venturing on my own working with amazing photographers all over has givien me the ability to be the bring out the beauty of any individual which indeed is my true passion.
