I am a photographer, massage therapist, teacher, wife, friend, and (my favorite) mom.

As a part-time professional photographer I shoot portraits capturing pregnancy, newborns, and children.

For FUN, however, I like to coordinate with other creative people and have a good time shooting different ideas.

TF* Shoots:

I provide a signed release form for the model and anyone else involved (MUA, Stylist, etc.) to use the images from the shoot in print and online for their portfolio/comp cards/personal use/Facebook/etc.

The model must sign a release for me to use her images for portfolio and promotional use in print and online. I am happy to send my form to you well in advance and negotiate any changes.

Depending on how many paid shots I'm editing at the time I will get the shoot culled and uploaded within 24 hours to one week. Depending on what we've negotiated for the shoot (how many images on CD, how many touched up, how many prints) you will receive your materials fairly quickly as well. I've never made a model wait a month or not sent what I've promised.

I am willing to split the cost of a MUA with a great model. I *highly recommend* using a professional makeup artist!

For MUAs I am willing to help you set up a shoot for your vision. Want to try gold leafing or body paint or whathaveyou? No problem. I will give you shots that actually show your amazing makeup job! If you have a certain model in mind I may consider contributing to the cost of hiring her if she is not interested in a TF shoot. A professional model can really help your makeup look better. Ditto for hair wizards and stylists.

I'm more likely to accept a TF* shoot with a model who has a fun wardrobe and is willing to hire a MUA.

I'm more likely to accept TF* with anyone that has reliable transportation and a good track record.

Policies:

Cancellations:

If you must cancel or reschedule your shoot give me as much notice as possible. Anyone who is a no show or cancels last minute isn't going to get another chance to do a TF shoot with me and will be required to pay a nonrefundable deposit prior to the next shoot date if there is one.

If you have hired a MUA or other service for the shoot and you don't show, you are still responsible for paying them for their time unless you've made other arrangements directly with them.

Escorts:

You are welcome to bring ONE friend, adult family member, etc. to the shoot for your comfort and safety.

The escort is NOT to be involved in the shoot in any way, give opinions, distract you, etc. They should be prepared to be quiet. It's advised they bring a book or crossword puzzle or something.

Minors:

I do not shoot minors without a parent or legal guardian present for the whole shoot.

I do not sexualize minors, shoot semiclothed shots, etc. Bathing suits must cover the majority of the breasts and buttocks. I have a daughter and I feel really strongly about this.

Nudes:

You must be 18 or older for me to shoot you without clothing.

I will take a picture of you with your clothes on with the signed model release and your photo ID showing you are over 18. This information will be kept on file and available for government inspection.

I will NEVER remove your clothes from the room or hide them. You will know where they are at all times.

I do not touch nude models. I will touch clothed and semiclothed and draped models (with permission only), however it's hands-off once the clothes and coverings come off.

I will not shoot closeups of genitals, spread shots, etc.

Drama:

I expect everyone on my shoot, whether it's a high budget job or a livingroom TF* shoot to leave their drama at home and act professional. Have fun, yes! Fun is good. Laughter is good.

Please get enough sleep the night before, avoid arguing with your boyfriend right before the shoot, etc. Bring what you're supposed to.

Other:

I reserve the right to end any shoot at any time, paid or unpaid, if I feel uncomfortable for any reason.

What I'm looking for right now for fun shoots:

- Fun costumes
- A female model who has studied ballet
- A female or male model who can do advanced yoga poses
- A model who has interesting physical performance talents or skills (contortionist, juggler, jump-roper, etc.)
- A very light skinned female and a very dark skinned female with similar body types
- A female model with very long hair
- A reliable MUA with reasonable rates to work with on a regular basis
- Babies ages 6-7 months (confident sitters but don't pull up yet), especially sets of multiples, any ethnicity
- Pregnant women between 2 and 10 weeks away from their due date at the time of our shoot who are fit and trim other than their pregnancy weight
- Several large families with adults and teenagers who I can pose for themed family portraits. This will be a fairly long shoot.
