About Me

I am a 27 year old female athlete, trainer, and coach. Currently,I train and compete in Olympic Weight Lifting and Body Building. I played collegiate rugby and now assist in the strength and conditioning for a collegiate women's rugby team.
      In addition to athletics, I have earned my B.S. in pre-med health science and am in the process of applying to medical school. I have done some modeling work for print ads as well as for billboards. I also have television experience. This year,I was selected to participate in a four month documentary called, "Losing It". The documentary was featured daily in half hour segments and was aired locally on a news program. I was also featured on the Dr. Phil show for working with a family (mother, father, two sons) to achieve their health and fitness goals.
      To be "fit" means so much more than muscular strength and/or cardiovascular strength. In fact, scientists have identified 9 components of fitness. Thats 9 different areas of fitness that we all need to explore....... which means fitness is so much more dynamic and complex than weights and cardio!! Unfortunately, I don't think people realize that there is much more to fitness than what meets the eye through various forms of media. The dynamic nature of fitness allows for so many options in activity, that everyone can find a way to enjoy exercise, regardless of there taste. The dynamic make up of fitness also implies that its role in our daily routine is much greater than one might believe, and by improving one's fitness, one can improve the quality of life tremendously.
    One of my goals is to get this information out there to everyone, and to expose as many people as possible to the endless variety of training options, training styles. Another goal I have is to to show men and women that being strong IS beautiful. I am very strong and very muscular and I am natural. I have learned to embrace my genetics rather than fight them. In doing so, I have developed a muscular physique. However, because I have done so naturally, I have not sacrificed femininity. Thats not to say all people feel that I look feminine, but more often than not, people remark on how feminine I DO LOOK while maintaining such a muscular physique. In fact, in body building shows, most judges have given me the victory for that reason. 
I hope that this site will give me the exposure, put me in contact with,  people that see the potential I have and possess the means, the direction, and/or the desire to assist me in reaching these goals, thereby assisting countless others achieve their goals.
