About Me

Right now I have been doing freelance makeup for four years.

I am currently looking for multiple gigs and projects to get involved with. I am an eccentric artist with a humongous imagination.

I bring a lot to the table creativity wise.
I have tons of my own ideas and hold the firm belief that an artist can look at something and see what it CAN be, beyond what it already is.

I am excellent to work with, I am prompt and reliable, and I will always accomplish the look!!

I have done many different types of work, sweet sixteens, birthdays, bridal showers, engagement parties, family photos, weddings (including hindi), proms and all and any other national and religious holidays. I also have knowledge on different tribal body painting styles.

Please check out my (constantly under construction) website at:

My skills:
Glamour/beauty makeup,pinup/able to distinguish between different kinds of ethnic body art styles, pin up/burlesque, face and body painting, drag, special fx; thematic, editiorial, alternative and horror.

I can also style hair/wigs/eyebrows/clothing.
I can also retouch/edit photographs with photo shop, and I have a PC tablet which is excellent for that!
I also have wardrobe the size of a pre 1970's station wagon!

I also do photography, can find great locations/research shoots if you work with me you get someone who is responsible, prompt, creative and versatile.
The stranger or more unique the project? I love it.

I have done makeup for every type of skin, race, complexion, age and sex. I am quite passionate about my work and have about 100 - 150 makeup brushes that I use to beautify, and even simulate airbrushing.

I also offer make up "school" to those who are interested.

I am a great way to make a party real special! You'd be surprised how fun it is to be painted while you're partying!
It's really a fun add on to any event you may be having, or to any event company.

As for the younger crowd, I have A LOT of experience working with children as a facepainter/clown/costumed character/princess.

My artistic background is large and very varied.
I am currently also working on the "Bad Kanji" collection which is my own art collection consisting of at least 20 pieces.... copyright time!!

I also draw anime , design dolls and look and sign wistfully at empty walls that deserve murals......and I am working my butt off to somehow become a tattoo artist.

"Skin Art".

It started out with children's facepainting,
working at the Madison Square Park fall festival,
which only proved to me that painting comes just as easy, if not easier then pencil/pen/marker/blunt stick, which is my usual medium of choice.

After that I accidentally got into the career of a makeup artist
(with no previous cosmetic experience, just an ability to color match and re create a "look"),
I worked for MAC Cosmetics (Location Macy's, Fulton St.,Brooklyn) for about two years.
During that time I was  also getting awesome gigs and at night I was body/face painting clubgoers.

I've worked at PM, APT, Crash Mansion, Madame X, The Delancey, The Bowery,The Sullivan room, The Lion's Den and Clique in Astoria, Queens.
While still working with MAC, and local hair salons around my previous neighborhood.

That's pretty much it besides the recognition
I got with my friend Chris,
while showing off our Special FX makeup
skills while working for the season at a huge costume store in the city.
We were in the NYTimes, ON Halloween 2007!

I think that's awesome!

.....

Anyways, I can say with confidence that I feel
comfortable in almost any medium,
and am always looking forward to trying many different kinds of art!
Add to that the fact that I am extremely creative and adaptable not only on the paper (or skin, or wall, or clothing)
but in the way which I deal with people.

Need a tattoo sketched? I'll help.
Need some graphic art?
T-Shirt design?
Textile designs?
Grown ups Entertainment?
Children's Entertainment?

Who I'd like to meet:

Fellow tricksters,
clowns,
go go dancers,
circus acts,
artists,
night owls,
children,
children at heart,
anybody with a story,
anybody who needs my creativity,
anybody who loves anime half as much as I do,
anyone who has anything to do with japan.
[私は]日本人が大好きです。 !!
