my name is amanda ranae' and i'm a 23 year old mixed media artist currently residing in raleigh. i pay my bills through graphic and web design, but i do fashion, interior, and furniture design on the side for fun. i started modeling when i was six weeks old in pageants and catalog advertisements, but my work slowed down when i reached about the age of eighteen. it was mostly my fault, i was more preoccupied with a social life than i was with working.

i have tried to get back into it over the last five years, to mixed results. i'm going to give it one more shot this time.

my portfolio is a bit outdated, but it posted simply to give photographers a general idea of my look. i am very interested in updating my portfolio. at this time i am only shooting tfp in the raleigh area. i will travel anywhere as long as all expenses are paid.

i need to expand in the following areas:
- commercial print
- glamour/pin up/import
- anything that is avant garde, wacky, or off-the-wall
- fashion (i realize that i do not posess the ideal body type for fashion, but due to my incredibly tiny frame and long [for my height] legs, i somehow manage to pull it off in print...)

i am very interested in shooting anything that is off-the-wall or out of the ordinary, and i would really like to find someone who shoots with old, vintage cameras from the 70's and earlier.

i will accept either paid work, tfp work, or trade-for-content (you do my project and i'll do yours) . i would prefer to get photos back in a timely fashion. also, since i am a professional graphic designer, if you are unopposed, i would like a cd of raw, unedited photos for promotional and portfolio purposes. you will be credited and they will not be sold or used for any of my paying graphic work in any way, shape, or form.

.: on the subject of nudes:.

i am not opposed to shooting nudes, so long as they are tasteful. by this, i mean no full-spread shots or nudity just for the sake of nudity. i also am not doing tfp with nudes unless it's for a project i really want to do!

i am a natural redhead, but after 23 years i got bored of it, and i am now currently sporting jet-black hair. i am liking this change thus far, but i may get bored again and change it.

in regards to chaperones, i realize that it can make other parties involved uncomfortable, so i am flexible. however, i am currently carless, so a chaperone may be the only way i can get to a shoot.

i am a snobby college educated detail oriented grammar nazi. =P therefor, you will get a lot more out of me if your email contains specifics, such as your availability, what kind of shoot you are interested in producing, location, and any other pertinent information. i will have a handy-dandy calendar posted here to let everyone know my availability. also, i would prefer to book shoots at least one week in advance.
