Interesting lateral move….RED is pro gear, competitor Canon has a range from Pro-Sumer to industrial pro kit.  Nikon is a consumer brand at best for video I think currently.   I expect to see RED technology/form factor trickle down to pro-Sumer market and give Canon some needed competition.
