Models, where are you finding paying gigs these days?

It seems like everyone complains about the difficulty in finding suitable people to create with.  Has that been your experience?  Feel free to discuss the difficulties you face in finding legitimate paid modeling opportunities.

Can you think of realistic ways that Model Mayhem (or any other platform) could be made better for your needs?
