Is this a scam? I am unsure because am up for an advert that pays slightly less than this in  GB pounds for 1 day so seems possible. However it still seems possibly wrong.

Job: Would you be interested in a Paid photo  Shoot for the Carlsberg Beer, I HAVE REMOVED THE PERSON;S NAME BECAUSE THEY MAY BE PASSING ON FOR ANOTHER

Pay: You would be paid 950 for 2 days(MAY 27th and 28th  2023).

Genre: Fashion (No nudity, no fetish, no bondage and no other adult content stuff).

Location: Shoot is in your vicinity. You could come with an escort(Family or Friend).

Contact: Email [email protected]  for more details.

This is the longest running scam on MM.
It's called a Nigerian 419 scam, it comes in many forms.

They offer you high pay for something (in this case it's modeling service)
They prepay you more than the amount for the item or service with a fake check (which will initially clear your bank).
They will require you to WIRE the overpayment to a third party (in this case they'll say it's to a makeup artist or studio)

The check will eventually be returned as fake, and the money will be removed from your bank account.
The money you WIRED is unreturnable and untraceable.

IF YOU RECEIVED THIS TYPE OF OFFER FROM ANOTHER MM MEMBER PLEASE REPORT IT TO MM @ www,modelmayhem.com/contactamod

You can read any of the hundred of posts that discuss this on MM here:

This always amuses me. It would be so much cheaper for them to pay for your transportation to their studio than for them to bring their entire crew and equipment to you.

While it’s become widely acceptable for micro businesses to use Gmail, etc. domains for very legitimate communications, Calsberg beer certainly has their own email domains and any genuine contact would use them.

Sometimes the little clues suffice.

It seems like this would be a good test for Rob's occult powers.
