It's called "BBS Code" which takes a slight bit of learning but still easy to do.

To display an image in a message your start with [ ] brackets with the letters img between them, then the url link (web address where the photo is) and then the same brackets with the symbol and letters  /img in them.

You should be able to click the QUOTE button below to see the full message including the BBS code instead of the photo so you can easily see how it's done.
