Howdy folks.

This though is directed to those who do or want to actually gain booking through their web sites. As photographers we care about visual (images and the way they are presented) -  and we should. But often we ignore things that google and non photographers care about.

We ignore mobile access (aka responsiveness), overall user experience/interface, text content, and much more. And it makes a difference. Google people in your specialty in your area - many of them will not have the best photos. Google does not care about image quality. And some will have 10-15 decent photos, but still rank higher than people who do much better photographic work.

I guess what I am trying to say, being found and found by the right people matters. If you are in this as a business, then your web site SHOULD bring you legitimate sales targets and potential conversions. Otherwise, what's the point?

Why am I saying all this - shameless promotion of course. We have a partnership which includes SEO experts, UI/UX specialists, photographers, and web developers. So, if your web site needs to take a step up and capture those qualified leads, ask and maybe we can help you.
