Hi guys and gal's
as per the subject, im typically a glamour shooter but i have always wanted to shoot beauty.

Well now im taking it a little more serious and trying a bit harder to capture proper beauty images than i have before, and also editing differently.

The below 2 images are from the weekends shoot and its my first (real) attempt at Freq Sep + dodge burn + custom curves for beauty.

model was flicking hair head - unfortunately not sharpest shot due to movement but got the desired effect smile

after looking at this after posting it - i see the hair near the front ear / stripes on face sad got to get rid of them, so i missed that when editing - always a reason to go away from your computer and come back to an image before you think its final sad

I like that first image, it's dynamic yet not over the top (nice capture of movement in hair), nice lighting and great cropping decision on that image. In my opinion a pretty successful beauty shot.
