The bank caught the check as being FAKE had I not questioned the teller before processing the balance would have been taken out of my savings and I couldve gotten In a lot of trouble beware dont respond to this email address  Teresa Miller

Anything that's wanting to send you money then have you return part of it, run away from.  Good that you where able to catch it before sending money back.

Was she a MM member?  I'll bet that her account has been cancelled.

This is always a scam.  You didn't even need to go to the bank.

Strongly advise that you remove your email from your profile!
It is visible to every scammer in the world, and is an open invitation to them!
Do not trust any of the many outside emails you will now be getting! Do not reply to them!
Use MM's private messages with members, and be very selective about sharing your email!

This person sent me a message, too.  After looking up the email address in a background check website, there was NO information.  You'd think "Paula Raymond" would at least have other online profiles.  When looking at the "Show Original" inside my email account, they had no personal identifying information, and was using my domain name as part of their "return path."  Nope.  Do not respond to this fraud.

I received a message from some Sabrina lady in response to my request for more information to a casting being announced via MM Recruiter. It directed me to send an email to [email protected] which I did. I then got a reply from someone by the name of Michael Bruze saying they would send me a check for $800 but I had to use some of that to purchase clothes I'd be wearing to a photo shoot in Austin TX. They would pay for all expenses for me and my escort, send me a plane ticket confirmation and all that good stuff. Luckily I got the feeling I needed to investigate. Thanks for the insight!

I have been a part of MM for a long time and have seen this same scam being used over the years . A lot of years . For them (scammers) to still be doing it means that they are making a lot of money off of this scam . And there is not much trouble that they can get in . I am also afraid that for every new model that posts up about this that there are probably hundreds more that did get scammed but were too embarrassed to post it . I would also bet that there are many new models that quit altogether after being scammed .
The scammers are truly taking advantage of the new models emotions . It is an emotional high just to sign up here on MM and start getting attention . So when the new model gets the chance to make some money , who wouldn't be excited ? Then they get scammed and what a horrible feeling that is . Sorry for rambling but I am offering a possible helpful suggestion . In the sign up procedure for MM can it be set up to "force" them to read a very short version of avoiding scams and even check a box indicating that it had been read ? I know that still not everyone will read it but what if it would help a lot more models avoid these scams .
