Am I the only who think Model Mayhem would benefit from creating a mobile app?
I'm currently browsing the site on my phone and trying to get a team together but I feel like I'd be more efficient if I was using the site as an app.

Thoughts?

The site is quite mobile-friendly as is. I can't imagine what a mobile version could provide that the main site does not.

It's definitely mobile friendly as it is and I really dislike websites that insist I download the app. If they have a mobile friend site then it's pretty redundant. A well made mobile site doesn't bloat my phone either.

I am surprised a few of you feel it is mobile friendly. I dislike using the site on my phone and wait until I can get to my mac or ipad.  If there are not going to create an app, the least they can go is make the slideshows in the portfolios go full screen.

Personally I think they would benefit HUGELY from a mobile site.
The website online is already unifinished as it is.

I think a mobile app would be nice to alert you when
- someone tags, comments on a pic, sends you a message
- replies to a forum post you commented on or created
- adds you to a list, sends you a friend request, accepts your friend request.

The mobile site they have is basically a more tedius version of the website.

But that aside, I love MM ahaha smile

Not a big fan of the mobile site.  An app would be easier for such things as messaging and taking a quick look at the portfolio.  Those are mostly the things I do on my phone, but its cumbersome.

In what way do you consider the online site "unfinished". It already does all the features you asked for above. How would a mobile site change any of that?

How much would you and other users be willing to PAY for such an app ?

The site would need to make their money back somehow for the cost of developing and maintaining an app, so it would need to generate a profit for them, most likely by needing to pay for the app.   Personally, if I was using an app, I'd also want to NOT see ads, so you'd need to offset that lost ad revenue somehow also.

If you're talking about an app for iOS, do you think that with all the nudity on this site, that Apple would ever approve such an app ?

Maybe once upon a time, this site would beg for a mobile app.  But now this place is dead....RIP MM.

Any updates? I'd be a LOT more active on here if there were an Android app. Make it so! LOL
