I just re-did quite a bit of my portfolio and I am looking for advice/critique of my retouching. I am not a professional however I enjoy the process and love the end results. Any advice on how to hone those abilities and continue growth would be highly appreciated. Be honest but not cruel.

This image has some more potential.  You didn't do bad but I think you should try to rework it some more.  Push yourself outside of your comfort zones!! As in the yellow of the eyes should be removed.  Her eyebrows also need to have the yellow cast taken off of them just to make them look more realistic.  Great job on removing the stray baby hairs on her forehead!! Maybe add some dodging and burning in certain areas as well! You however did a good job!

Very good job on the skin.  However, the stray hairs need to be removed, the whites of the eyes should look cohesive, they are blotchy.  I would bring some of the freckles back, and fix the top of the shoulder it is rough.

The background around the side of her face and shoulders should be fixed...the rest of it is one color but it looks kind of sloppy.  Love the color of the lips that you did good job on that color!!!  Skin looks nice.  I would think about adding some dodging and burning to the hair to make it look more shinny and less flat. And maybe sharpening the eyes and eyebrows a tad..the brows are too blurry.  Good image and good work though!
