Ok I have this image that I tried to retouch but it came up so wrong. Because of the rose and the yellow/gold makeup i wanted to create a nice warm golden look. Unfortunately, I end up with this awful greenish girl. Do u guys have an idea how to fix it? what can i do? all critique and advice is truly welcomed

I'd probably add a layer adjustment and put some red back into the 3/4 tones. You've got too much cyan, or not enough red there.

You could do this with many other techniques though.

I used a lazy technique I saw online. White brush for light, black for shadow then gaussian bllur n low opacity for the layers. But i had the problem with the colors before d&b.

Before d&b? Are you sure? Then, you need to color correct the image. Hope you know how to do that.

This.

Use Selective Color adjustment layer, and back off Cyan in the reds and the yellows, and add some yellows in the picture when you do that.

The highlights are very harshly carved in on her nose, cheeks, etc. Way too much! I like the colors but very harsh carving - makes her look like a tranny :-P

loooool
+111
as for OP
i don't see how this could be something to difficult to work out, if it isn't warm enough, go to something like levels, or selective colour and take out the blue or the green, and maybe adding more red or yellow, but so it is not too saturated.
smile

edit:
after taking out the blue/green problems, might just want to take the whole image under a warm tone, as the skin needs it too, or maybe do something about the shadows, so it doesn't look at greyish.

edit again:
looks like this case has been solved... tongue
