Not too harsh please, I'm still learning! Here's the before: And the after: And here's a 50% crop of the face after general adjustments but before skin clean up: And after: I know it isn't perfect, like I said, I'm still learning and while I've been using photoshop for a while, I'm relatively new to retouching - especially using techniques like D&B. I'm not going to go back and edit this picture because, although I can see flaws, I'm sick to death of looking at it. But I'd like some advice on what to change and improve in my future work! May 26 10 12:16 pm Link I would have retouched her teeth.. her skin looks good.. you did miss a spot or two but I think that's alright.. I try not to get everything because no skin is flawless.. I don't like her right eye.. it looks weird.. but other than that...I'd say nice work! May 26 10 12:53 pm Link Sistagurl wrote: Ooh, yeah 'doh! May 26 10 01:06 pm Link like the before...maybe because of her hairs. the after makes her look like an old woman w/ lots of gray hairs. other than that, don't see any significant change. May 26 10 04:09 pm Link I like the nice and subtle approach but its missing the tonal and contour adjustments aka the retouchers kick (I just made that up). What you have made so far is what most of the retouchers and photographers would all do. Take it to the next level when you are done with her teeth May 26 10 04:17 pm Link like already mentioned do the teeth need some work i would suggest you to remove some more of the stray hairs on her forehead. its a personal taste, but i think that could improve the image. if you want to keep the retouching subtile this is the way to go i think, but i would recoomend removing some of the bigger blotches in the skin. May 29 10 05:16 pm Link I'm gonna hate myself for this but could you send me the full res before? xx May 31 10 05:10 am Link |
