This picture of Joe (tipa24, MM 17849) is a killer photo. I am a guy and I find this picture sexy, convincing, sensual and best of all fun. And works so well in b+w. An equivalent with a woman would work just fine. But please no bikinis. Jeans are real good. Jul 12 05 01:24 am Link It is a really good image. I like shots that are editorial in feel. Jul 12 05 01:36 am Link meh Your South American illustration is cooler and sexier. Jul 12 05 01:40 am Link There is an unpolished, unglitzy unMM look to it that makes it stand out. Jul 12 05 01:46 am Link (I like editorial too) Jul 12 05 01:54 am Link I enjoy being able to see the smile lines of his face. The black and white really captures this well. There is a real genuine feel to it and I think that will always capture an audience. Jul 12 05 04:57 am Link absolutely. the composition is faultless (rule of 3rds) and i would guess that there are tones in every zone. Jul 12 05 05:30 am Link And kudos for the Alfalfa hair spike. Jul 12 05 06:00 am Link Definetly has that "just woke up" look going on. Very casual and real. Personally I don't find it sexy but its a good photo. Jul 12 05 08:16 am Link Definitely has a "real" feel to it, no doubt about that! I like it a lot. Jul 12 05 08:24 am Link I agree! This shot has editorial written all over it!! I love the fact that is it a black & white shot too!! Hot!!! SS Jul 12 05 08:28 am Link This shot plays exactly to commentary I provided on another critique regarding the technical aspect of photography. Is this a finely crafted technical image? No. Does it engage the viewer? Yes, most definately. A splendid example of capturing the moment that substantiates it isn't just about the photographer and technical craftsmanship, but capturing what works hard to fulfill a purpose beyond just lighting the field of play. I can well imagine there are many that will view this with the thought in mind, "And good morning to you too!" Jul 12 05 08:55 am Link I like it... Jul 12 05 09:08 am Link I like it... Jul 12 05 09:08 am Link very sexy... makes one wonder what happened that night before to make him smile so beautifully. excellent shot. Jul 12 05 10:24 am Link |
