Just got signed up and setup my profile, but I think it would be better to use my name as my username (instead of my typical nickname).

Can I change this somehow?

You can normally ask these quotions in the Site Related Discussions, but since you are new you get a free pass.

You can send an email to one of the moderators and request to have your name changed. It is not a built in feature of the site.

My problem is that I dont know who the moderators are.

The help areas dont have much info on who to contact with problems.

i can't figure this out either and it frustrates the hell outta me.  please let me know if you find out the answer.  i sure hope it can be changed.
