I was wondering if I could have some advice on curling my own hair for shoots- the curling iron technique, products, etc.

One thing I tried with the recent model I shot was just working in a Texture gel into the hair.  Take a peek of the pictures of the model Taryn in my port.  Her hair is actually really and very extremely straight.  No iron used at all. It's simple, easy, sets fast, and easy to wash out afterwards.

I always roller set mine if it's involving a shoot-they tend to hold up more.
