Friends (87)About Me
Will work anywhere between my hometown Panama city and where I currently live in Pensacola.
Well, where do it start! My name is Debbie. I grew up in the woods hunting and fishing as a little tomboy being raised by my dad and grandpa mostly. So yes i am a huge daddy's girl! I am the proud mother of a 2 year old smart, sassy, and beautiful daughter. She is a lot to handle but I wouldn't trade it for the world! You might be wondering how a tomboy gets into modeling. First I'd like to thank my step mom for making me into a little lady. It took some fighting and arguing about the color pink and to not burp in public (even when my dad thought it was funny), but she did it! As for the first, actual tryout for modeling was a complete accident. I went with my boyfriend at the time to an open call as his escort. Well one thing lead to another and they soon asked if they could take pictures of me. Reluctantly I agreed. After a quick 5 minute lesson in facial modeling here came the camera! At first I felt very intimidated but it started feeling natural and came easy. After seeing those first edited pictures I was hooked. Not at the fact that I was looking at myself, but the fact that I was strong enough to conquer my fears and I could do or be anything in those pictures. Did I forget to mention how shy I was!? Im surprised my face wasn't red from embarrassment. After that day I soon moved to orlando to work for AJRimaging with A.J. and Scott Riley! They have since moved to L.A. to better persue their dreams to the full extent. But I got to work with some amazing popular models and companies and some amazing work came out of it. I even trained the new recruits that came in! I moved back to Panama City about a year later and took a break from modeling. After I had my daughter I realized how much I missed being in front of the camera. I was contacted by a few photographers that have worked for some well known magazines (lets just say you can buy them at any store) as well as had their own talent agency: Ken Shelton, Gary Clark, and J. Spencer. They took my first "back in the game" pictures. They were fun to work with and had some great ideas! I trained a few models between there and my recent pictures by Joe Spedale. He has produced some of my most favorite pictures! He has an eye for each style and he is very easy and comfortable to work with! The times I've worked with him another awesome guy has been there as well: Jeff Pitts! If you ever have the chance to work with either of them, I'd take it right away! If you are an aspiring model and are reading this and need some help just get in touch and we can make some magic happen! You'll be amazed how easy it is! No need to say you can't ever do it; I conquered my fears, now its your turn! I teach girls on the side being assistance in learning to model as well as an assistant for tee Panama city photography club. I go on shots to help pose the girls and give advice as well as hold diffusers and reflectors. I can do it all in front and behind the camera... Just ask! Credit Notes
