100% Self taught. Too cool for art school.
I've been painting, drawing and creating in general for as long as I can remember, but only in past year or so I've picked up watercolours and fallen in love. I mainly paint portraits, and I like to combine elements of pop-art, surrealism, traditional tattoos, graffiti, satire, anatomical diagrams and fashion editorial type imagery with a dream-like feel to it, often a portrayal is dissasociation/depersonalization and hallucinations. Generally with portraits I use faces I find in magazines and online as templates, but very rarely leave them true to the model.
